We are hopeful that everyone is staying safe and healthy as we navigate our way through this COVID-19 pandemic. ALIVE's 24th Annual ALIVE Golf Tournament and Auction was scheduled for October 12th, and we hoped things would return to normal by now. Since heavy restrictions on golf activities and large gatherings are still in effect and will be for the foreseeable future, we decided to shift the event to a virtual format.
The tournament has traditionally been ALIVE’s biggest annual fundraising event, while domestic abuse has escalated during these difficult times. Bottom line, we need your help now more than ever! Please consider donating to ensure ALIVE can continue empowering a growing number of families with safety and support resources, despite the agency's drastic revenue reduction due to cancelling the golf outing and other events.
ALIVE will host an online auction, which features items and experiences that you don't want to miss! The online auction (link below) closes at 4pm on October 12. The virtual event will culminate with a 5pm drawing on October 12th for these one-of-a-kind prizes. Donors contributing $100 or more to this fundraiser will be included in the drawing. Donations must be received by 4:30pm on October 12 for inclusion in the 5pm drawing. Winners will be contacted as soon as possible.
You don't want to miss the variety of silent auction packages available! Visit https://one.bidpal.net/virtualpartee to browse and bid on auction items before 4pm on October 12.
Your generous gift not only supports ALIVE’s programs empowering area families to build safe and hopeful futures but may also help you save on your 2020 income taxes. Donations are eligible for Missouri Domestic Violence Shelter Tax Credits equal to 50% of the tax-deductible portion of your contribution over $100. In addition, the CARES Act allows for an “above-the-line” deduction of up to $300 for your donation, even if you don’t itemize on your 2020 federal taxes. Please consult with your tax advisor.
Especially now, thank you for your continued support and generosity, making it possible to restore safety and peace, one family at a time.
